Here's my latest experiment:

I will attempt to add this post to a PAGE instead of the blog feed.

Because Blogger describes pages as "stand alone," I don't think that this option is possible.

Nope! I can only create blog posts. They can't be added to tabs. :(

Here's an idea: it would be more inconvenient than just using labels... Create pages, then require students to add the url of each post to one of the pages. Yeah, let's just use labels.
